Rear mudguard removal

Chap's please help....
I have seen many of your Thruxtons with the rear mudguard or fender(i think you call it)removed, this gives the bike a much sportier look and lightens up the whole bike I think. To remove this lump of iron from the bike then leaves some electrics exposed to rain ect so needs to be covered in some way.Is there a kit of some kind that you all use to remount the rear lights and number plate ect? If there is who sell's it? Can I get it in the U.K.
Hope you all can help. And any of you from the U.K. please let me know.
Thanks,Moose .

Moose,

There are a number of suppliers doing these. They are sold as a fender elimination kit. Have a look at newbonneville.com or any of the other suppliers who advertise on this site.

Cheers,

Russ

Hi Moose

Here's a couple - http://www.newbonneville.com/html/fe...nator_kit.html and http://www.bellacorse.com/bcc136.htm

I can't find anything similar from our native suppliers, but have imported stuff from both of these guys without any problems. If your Thruxton rear mudguard is silver, I might be interested in buying it from you if you want to sell it at a reasonable price.
