Question Signal Minder - Front running lights only?

Anybody using the Kisan Signal Minder hooked up so that only the front turn signals are used as running lights? Wondering if it's safe electrically for the lights and system itself.

The reason I ask is because I have had a Run/Stop/Turn set up on my previous bike and other drivers weren't noticing my turn sigs as well. They were red, to comply with regs. I also just don't want to run amber running lights on the rear. Nothing like a blast of amber light outta nowhere to signal your intentions.

TIA-

Since the fronts and backs are wired together on each side, you'd have to at least do something with the wiring, but I can't imagine how you'd make it work, because the SignalMinder has to be connected to both front and back to get the turn signal.

It would be simpler to wire the front with dual filament bulbs--I believe that at least one person on this board has done it--and not use the SignalMinder running lights option.

Not quite the answer you were looking for, but I was wondering if you saw this feature. The SignalMinder can be set up with two different levels of running lights. I have mine set up for the lower setting and it's a pretty stark contrast between turning and running.

Sorry I can't be more help.

Thanks, guys. I'll try the low option when I get it but I think I'll use the Signal Minder for the safety of turn signal shutoff and maybe go with some low-powered running lights or some fork-mounted white lights which don't use too much power. A lower-powered version of a MotoLights type setup would be great.
Cheers,
