Signalminder Problem – 2003 T100 Bonneville

Hi Guys,

I just installed a Signaminder SM-1 on my 2003 Bonneville yesterday afternoon. Just the plug and play, no options wired up.

Went for a ride this morning and everything was fine and dandy. Half way through the ride the signals packed up.

Got home put the original signal relay back and now the signals are working OK.

Anybody had similar problem with the Signalminder?

Cheers
Matthew

Do you have the jumper switches set correctly? I can't think of anything else, unless you got a defective one. There's nothing to do but set the jumpers and plug it in.

++1 on that Balto. If not set rite- wont work rite! I have had mine on for 3 yrs & found it to be a life saver! It MAY be defective? That does happen. Ifso - send it back & get a new one. I still havent hooked up all the goodies. Some day when I have a friend here good w/ elec. Check the switches
& if all OK- send it back! Get it from NB? Bret will take care of ya. Good luck! Its probably defective?

Hi Guys,

Worked great this morning, no problems and then it just clapped out.

Must be a defective unit.

Cheers

+1 I had a defective unit and they replaced it quickly. The replacement has lasted for 21000 miles now.

Hi Guys,

Just got off the phone with the Tech guy at Signalminder and he is sending me an LED bulb for the signal idiot light on the dash. Saw some chat on this issue in this forum.

Is this major surgery to install a new bulb, I have not had a chance to take a look yet?

Cheers
