Corbin Smuggler?

I am trying to decide if I should fit an after-market seat with a cowl, or splash out on a Corbin Smuggler. To help me decide, has anyone got any photos of Corbin Smugglers fitted to a Bonneville Black? I have spotted a couple on the forums, but wouldnt mind seeing a few more. Also any comments on how comfortable the Corbin seats are compared to other thrid party seats?

I have a corbin gunfighter and lady on my bonnie - the main seat is the same as the smuggler. I have found it more comfortable than the stock, or the Triumph Contemporary seat.

I would love to have a smuggler or similar - I am contemplating have the back part of the seat cut off, and then putting the seat hump on so that I have a little stowage area.

The smugglers do look good - you should scan through the bonnie picture thread, I know there are some on there.

Thanks! Those are Norman Hyde Western Bars but have since been changed to a set of Flanders bars. 34" wide instead of 35" and a few more inches of pullback.

Yep 5bassman, that was what I was looking for, nice pics of a smuggler, same color as I was looking for too, but now looking at the price difference between the smuggler ($799) and the Classic Gunfighter ($369) I am thinking that I may just go with the gunfighter, same look, a little cleaner even, but of course no storage... i think either would look better than the aftermarket with cowl, anyone disagree?

Either one will look better AND feel better... no doubt. But I really like the Corbin Smuggler.

I finally managed to find a nice used Smuggler on eBay and snapped it up. The storage area is actually larger than I imagined it. Man is it nice always having a place to put a few things, without having to use a tank-bag.

I had the same thought..I went with the Classic Gunfighter. I'll tell you this: My rear end would hurt like a mofo after 100 mi on my stock seat, I rode 200 mi yesterday and felt like I could ride all day. Whichever Corbin you get, your arse will thank you for it!

This is not my bike, but it is my smuggler... now. It's the one I snagged off eBay. As it turned out, it's in perfect mint condition.

Just today I managed to snag a Gunfighter and Lady for two-up.

For less than the price of a new Smuggler, I now have both.
