The wobble/headshake... CURED!?!?!?!
So what did they not try?
When they swapped the front wheel of my bike with another, they used the original axle from my bike.
Guess what.
They swapped axles with the showroom bike and they tell me the wobble is gone.
I haven't test-ridden it myself yet, but I think they are being honest with me.
I think I'm getting Sopwith Sam back!!!!

That is phenomenal - I am quite sure that it is true, and that you will enjoy your bike. I am certain that when you get it, your summer will be restored to righteous levels!

Well, I guess I'm a little cynical after the past 26 or so days, so I won't believe it 100% until I ride it. That said, I am really, really excited to get the bike back. It's a really cool bike -- I haven't been as excited about another motorcycle since I bought an RZ350 back in the late 80's.

Been following these threads and really hope you get your bike back 100% right.
Call that Pete Carleo dude and tell him that he should be a little more aware of his company's product and that front end wobble is "NOT NORMAL" (bad Pete).

I would love to know how the axle can cause a wobble. It's not a rotating part.

Maybe machined with a slight taper so the bearing is riding at an angle, just a guess.

Yeah, but if it's not true, the hub can wobble on it. A bent axle or one that is larger in diameter on one side than the other can do this I suppose. If it's the case, the really owe you a new hub too as that's going to be asymmetrically worn.

I truly hope the bike is as your dealer says! My 2003 T100 runs like it's on rails, and I'd like to have you experience the same with your machine. They really are fun machines!
