Dresser Bar Removal?

Does anyone have a set of instructions for installation of the Triumph Dresser Bars for the Bonnie. I want to remove mine and am worried that if I don't do it right my engine will be on my driveway. I thought if I had a set of installation instructions I could work in reverse. Thanks.

Nah,your engine won't fall out.Just use the right tools!

Just kidding.I can't help you with removal, but I might be interested in taking it off your hands, providing you want to get rid of it,and it's the right kind.

Got any pix?

Cheers!
Bruce

Yep, the Sawzall with a metal blade should make short work of that dresser bar. Clean up the sharp edges with a file.

The dresser bars are the triangular-shaped Triumph accessories still sold by Triumph. I'd be happy to entertain an offer to sell the dresser bars, a King & Queen seat, a sissy bar, and a windscreen--all authentic Triumph parts. All came on my cycle with 1,800 miles. I didn't want the cruiser theme. I've read some posts that talk about the need to support the engine when the bars are installed. I'm not sure that applies here, but didn't want to take the chance.
