I think I can actually feel the difference with the Unifilter

Today the mail lady delivered my package from Newbonneville with the Unifilter and I've installed it (easy) and taken a test ride. I know the butt dyno is an unscientific test but I'm pretty sure the filter really made the bike pull harder. It could be that it's just louder and my mind thinks louder=power but it actually felt faster. Definitely worth the money.

I made a mistake and didn't order the filter oil so I used some 30 weight instead.

sure thing - every bit helps. Do you still have stock pipes?

I have the Scrambler TORs and already rejetted with 115 mains and 1 shim. Actually I think the 115 is too rich, more so in the hot weather. I bought a set of 112 mains but haven't put them in yet. The 115's might be pretty close in cooler air. I want to put the bike on a dyno with an a/f meter but the closest place is a Harley shop 60 miles away.

Well, if the bike feels pretty lethargic, you're running too rich. I have TORs and a K&N filter and I'm running a 125 main with no shims. I'm at sea level though. That makes a difference, too.

I'd say your set up is as close to spot-on as you'll get.
The adding of the shim has more effect overall than changing the main, as this only effects the top end.
I have an A/F gauge fitted and I'm running more or less the same kit as you.
I think 112 's will run you slightly lean at higher throttle positions.

Thanks for the info. It's funny how many folks have the huge jets and seem to run good. There's a thread here somewhere with scan of a motorcycle test between a Ducati and a Scrambler and the magazine found the Scrambler was far too rich with 118's and TORs, with real measurements of a/f on a dyno.

I ran the bike early this morning (70 deg) and it did OK. I'm convinced I can feel more power at wot/high rpm with the low restriction air filter.
