Signal out already?

I have had my '08 Thruxton for just over a month and have logged just shy of 800 miles. I noticed the signal indicator was blinking real fast yesterday which led me to discover the front signal is already out on my brand new bike. ***?

Surprised I even noticed being that the dash indicator lights on this bike are useless except in the dark.

So replace the light bulb and be done with it.

Yes sir...

Just seems a little odd. I have owned various bikes up to about 5k miles and never had any bulbs go.

Occasionally there's a light bulb that just doesn't last very long. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it. I had a headlight bulb--one of a new pair--burn out in my car a few months. The other one of the pair is still going strong a year later.
