Brake Bleeding

I have just replaced my front brake line and can't get the fluid to move through the to the caliper.
I have a speed bleeder installed to stop the air being sucked back up the line.
Is there a trick to adding fluid to a new line?

I have never used those speed bleeders - I have never found them necessary, so I do not know if you have an issue with that.

The only time I have ever had this problem is when the teeny tiny pressure return hole in the master cylinder is blocked. This stops fluid going down the main feed, but it only ever happened to me on, old crudded up brakes. Shouldn't happen on new ones unless you got a bit of dirt in it.

i recently replaced my front brake line and had the same problem.
in the end i opened the bleed nipple, and let the fluid slowy, over 10-15 mins slowly seep thru, keeping an eye on reseviour an topping up.
eventually i was able to slowly work the fliud thru and build up pressure to get the air out,

I couldn't get the speedbleeder to work, so I put the old bleeder back in and had it done in 20 minutes. Once I got a few centimetres of fluid in the hose connected to the bleeder I didn't have to keep locking it off every squeeze.
I am not sure if the speedbleeder was faulty or whether I wasn't using it correctly.
