Already thinking about the first tire change and thought I would ask you guys what you have installed on your America. I'm looking for a hard touring tire that will last for a very very long time with more of a touring tread designe rather then the sport bike look.
I have used IRC in the past, they were great long lasting with a rugged tread pattern.. but they do not make the size's needed.
Any of you guys gone up a size front and back? Good fit?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Me too! I've only got about 150 miles on my new America, but I already dislike the rear Metzler. It breaks loose way too easily on low speed turns, and wet road traction is really dicey. Hope someone knowledgeable replies before my tread gets too thin.

I had good luck with Metzler got 16000 thousand miles out of the ones the sm came with put metzler's back on got 7000 thousand miles on these and look good yet think I will get at lest 15000 miles out of them
