New Question!!!
Ok - I went out and bought the "Classic" badges on my lunch break today, then realized I don't have the screws to put them on... Called the dealer and they don't have the screws, not the part number or dimensions of the screws... What size did you use to fit the new badges?? I was pretty excited to go home and get to work on it but now it seems that I'll need to put in some investigation on screw size. Thanks for the help!! I assume that they are all the same so what is the size on any bike w/ screw-on badges??

Bummer LB, I know that I was fired up to put my classic badges on.
I looked on Bikebandit.com and it looks like the Bonnie (old style tank) uses the following:
SCREW, SECURE, M5X16
M5 X 16MM
You may be able to find them somewhere else.

You know Lb you could also check out Autozone, those screws are that tamper resistant type (torx with a pin in the middle) or just use what you can find and maybe order the torx type when you can.

D*A*M*N Ice! Full of ideas today! The last thing I need is some fool stealing my new $100.00 badges. I'll def. check into that! I really hope the bigger classic badges work on the '08 tank....

Special Heritage tank badges
Hi everybody.
This thread really made my day. I have been looking for options to change the tank badges for months.
I will try to get these "special heritage tank badge" made by the french Mecatwin.com
If I can't, I'll just get the classic Triumph ones and try to paint them in black.
I'll post pics when done.
Awesome no ?

I can't believe Triumph went to plastic badges when they still have the screw holes in the tank after the 2008 redesign. The metal badges add a touch of class to the whole bike IMO. Plus thy make money selling the different styles to those want to change.
Well it's good to know it's possible to add the metal badges to the 08Bonnies.
