I would like louder than stock which is like a 2 on scale of 1 to 10 but not make my ear bleed loud. I would like a 6 or 7. Have you heard them before as compared to predators?

I have them, I replaced a set of reverse cone Emgos which were pretty loud and (I assume) quite similar to Preds. On your scale, the Burgess pipes would be in the 6 or 7 range, nice throaty growl with some volume when you gas it. Very well made and a simple install.

Commando Specialties shipping..

It's been 11 days since I ordered these pipes and have yet to receive them. Have any of you guys had any problems with Commando Specialties? I've posted a question to them via eBay and am hoping that they come in tomorrow's mail.
If they are notoriously slow, I will be patient.

exhaust

i ran them, with 128`s-45s ,uni-filter along with a polaris bellmouth ,no A.I. no snorkel , no restrictor plate.ran very well, loud but much less so than D&D`s more hollow sounding than Togas,as they are alittle longer and have a little more internal volume ,very 60`s sounding, you wont be disappointed, good folks ,at commando spec.

Sorry, been away...

I got my pipes Thursday 7/24. They fit great, i used some Red RTV to seal up the joints. The sound is awesome. Not too loud at idle but really sound nice on the accel and decel. She feels "pully" too. My buddy told me today that, "the sound of those pipes make it look so much cooler." I went with the following setup with good results:
de-snorkel
polaris bellmouth
uni filter
130 mains
1 shim
2.5 turns on the 'ol screw

If the stockers are 1 out of 10 and no mufflers is 10 out of 10 (had that for a week or so)
these pipes are about a 6.5/7
T.L.
My only suggestion is if you decide on them, DON'T USE PARCEL POST. The extra few dollars for Priority Mail is worth it.

+1

I got mine from them. Good price & quick ship. The pipes are about as loud as comfortable. On the highway doing 65 mph, full face Shoei, & ear plugs I can still hear Harley straight pipes over mine on bikes BEHIND me. If that give you any indication of loudness.
