My Thruxton gel seat is considerably more comfortable for me than the plank of wood that came with my T100. I switched the seats a month or so back just to feel the difference, and my boney butt was broken after only 15 minutes on the OEM seat. The Thruxton gel seat is slimmer, softer and has the slide-in slot in the rear of the seat, as well as the side fastner sections for the optional seat cowl. The addition of the black cowl, gel seat and Flander's Superbars with Napolean barend mirrors transformed my Bonnie visually into an even more handsome machine.
I also use an Alaska Sheepskin butt pad on both of my bikes. These add additional softness, as well as warmth in the winter and dryness in the summer.
