elevation/jet relationship?
Have been asking around trying to pinpoint the best set up for my carbs/debaffled tors/ai removed 07 bonne. (as sweat knows probably too well!). Asked Sean at BC and he said out there (read Ca.) they don't go over 140 mains, 42 pilot, 2.5 turns screw and no shims and he attributed that set up due to their elevation (sea level). I'm riding usually anywhere from 100-500 ft. elev. Home is 494. How much should this be considered when it comes to carburation? Going to go back today from 152 main to 148 and one shim. Coming to realize thanks to my friends here that I shouldn't expect a great increase in top speed when rejetting but in more torque at different points (low, med. high). I think i'm learning something. :-)
