Airbox Removal Kit from BellaCorse:

Airbox: The airbox seemed to be very well made, but did not fit like I expected. It was not possible to install without enlarging the rear holes.

Filters: I read here that the filters were the same as K&N, but without the brand marking. They do not look anything like the filters I ended up buying from New Bonneville (see below). The fit on the bike is poor, as it is difficult to get them to remain on the carbs. I cleaned inside as the instructions stated, and didn't over tighten. They just plain do not fit well. I ended up ditching them. The crankcase filter fits very well, but it's not a filter. It is a fine mesh metal screen. Not sure if others use these or not, but I had never seen one that wasn't a paper filter.

Stainless clamps: Arrrgh! They need to be about 1/4” longer. I finally got them on, but it sure wasn't easy. They do look nice though.

Carb support brace: A very nicely made, and good looking part. It did not include the hardware for attaching to the frame. Adding that sure would be nice.....and save a trip to the store.

Jets: I'd like to see better jet setup come with this kit, or at least a better assortment of shims and mains. They cost peanuts compared to the kit. I think most people (myself included) would be willing to shell out a couple extra bucks to have them included. My kit (setup for my pipes) came with a 132 main jet....I ended up with a 155.

Overall: I think it's a decent kit for the money, but definitely has some shortfalls. I'll give it a 6/10.

BellaCorse Teardrop mufflers:

Pipes: Made by EMGO. Very pleased with the finish and sound. Fit is not perfect though, as the side stand on an '08 will hit the pipes.

Hardware: The brackets do not fit without modification, or muscling them down to the pipe. The latter would be easy, if there were washers included in the kit....but there are not. The exhaust clamps are kind of cheap. I broke two...without putting much muscle into them. While mentioning clamps, I'll say that it would be nice if we could go with graphite exhaust seals like other companies do. Most every slip on I've put on a jap bike had a better setup than high temp silicone.

AIS removal kit: It was supposed to be included in the kit with the pipes. I didn't get it....so I cannot comment on it.

Overall: I'll give them a 7/10. If they could straighten out the hardware/ fit issues, they'd be an easy 10/10 with the current price.

BellaCorse Super Gaitors: Excellent, well made product. Of course, I do not know how they will hold up, but right now I could not be more pleased with the fit and look. 10/10.

BellaCorse overall: Seems like a decent company to do business with. I think I received my stuff in a reasonable amount of time, but I did have to wait a week due to some parts being back ordered. I would do business with him again....so long as I am not in a hurry. Unfortunately, I don't get much time to turn wrenches, so I'm usually in a hurry to get parts.

NewBonneville “D-Tool”, Idle mixture screws, AIS plugs, Stainless seat bolt extensions: All well made products that do exactly as intended, and exceeded my expectations. 10/10

NewBonneville K&N filters: Again, well made products that fit well, and do just as intended. Key note, the inside of the rubber boot is grooved, and I had no problem getting a good grip on the carbs with these filters. Also, no clearance issues like I had with the other filters. They just plain rock. 10/10

UNI Crankcase filter from NewBonneville: Fairly well made, but could fit just a tad better. The fitting is a weee bit small for the stock vent tube, but it works with a good clamp (provided). 8/10.

New Bonneville overall: With all said and done, I have to give props to New Bonneville. Customer service was top notch, and everything I ordered was in stock. I also ordered other little odds and ends that aren't worth mentioning (jets, etc)....and EVERYthing was delivered to my door in two business days.....that's Texas to North Carolina with reasonable shipping rates. I also got very prompt communication returned via email. Something that was VERY much appreciated!

Lastly, there was a pack of “Juicy Fruit” chewing gum in the box with my parts. Not sure how....or why...but I got a chuckle out of it....and had a nice stick of gum to chew for my test ride. LOL.

I hope these reviews are able to help someone!

Take care!

Really? All I ever get are a couple Lifesavers® (individually wrapped, of course), but then, you spend a lot more money than I do.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

The side-stand problem is common for many after-market silencers that do not have a side-stand stop bracket. A simple solution I used is to glue (I used silicone blath-tub caulk) a thick piece of leather on the inside (frame side) of the "elbow joint" made with the side-stand and frame. This cannot be seen with the side-stand up, and can only be seen with the side-stand down if you lie on the ground beside the bike.

I did this over 18000 miles ago and it is still doing the job quite well.

RedBird, No doubt....and thanks for the follow up. I'll be doing something similair this evening.

Make no mistake....I do not expect that when installing aftermarket motorcycle parts that everything will be 100% perfect. That's what you get when you start customizing. I just wanted to give an honest review and let folks know what they're in for with the parts.
