America high beam

What's the part number for the America high beam bulb? Also, is this a common bulb that can be purchased at an auto parts store?

Howdy Kem. Your bike has a single bulb for both high and low beam and it is a commonly available replacement - Ask for an H4 bulb. If it's the high beam indicator bulb you're asking about, it should be a #37.

The same H4 used in car head lights? Also, do I replace the bulb from the front of the headlight or the rear?

Same type of H4 as used in a car. There are more vibration tolerant ones.....brighter ones...etc - the cost is all over the map I've found 'em for 5 bucks and for 48 bucks (probably more expensive ones out there).

You replace from the rear.....2 screws to remove the headlamp bezel and pot assembly, remove the rubber boot etc etc. Normal precautions.

Osram & Philips HID H4 bulbs

Before you buy a standard H4 replacement bulb, you may want to consider using the Osram H4 Night Breaker or the Phillips X-Treme Power H4. I have not used them myself, but I have read that they both are indeed substantially brighter. Osram claim they are 10% brighter than the Philips. I have no way to know if this is true. Maybe there are some users who can post their experience with either bulb.

Here is a web address for the Osram:
