Perfect bracket Mod

I have the MC Resource saddle brackets as well as the seat rack from New Bonneville. As I will be riding from New Orleans to Northern Minnesota in a few weeks I was concerned about giving the both racks a little more support/strength.

I am lucky enough to live in a college town with under 20,000 people, and that has two blacksmiths-- one who is also a top notch fabricator. John did a marvelous job of solving my problem, especially since he designed the solution, fabricated it, and installed in less than 12 hours after I dropped my bike off.

They are so much better than anything I could ever have imagined. They use the back foot peg mount and support both the saddle bag racks and the rear rack (the kind also using the MC mount). His support brackets can be mounted an unmounted in less than 5 minutes. I am sooo impressed.

Take a look!

I asked if he would sell the same to others if they were interested.
He said sure. With no scrolling he will created a pair for $100 (pair).
With the scrolling $150. (and no I don't get a cent-- I just thought some others may be interested). If you are his email is: jbhutchinson at eiu.edu

That is really nice Truax. Looks like it's gonna stiffen things up really well. John the blacksmith does some fine work.
