Bash plate question

Does a bash plate/skid plate on the Scrambler interfere with changing the oil & oil filter?

I haven't looked closely at how the Triumph one is fitted, and haven't seen any others in person.

Thanks, Guy

I'm sure you would have to remove the bash plate to get to the oil filter.

Yes, it has to me removed. But it's a 1-2 minute job.

Okay - that's what I thought. Thanks!

Likely wouldn't do much good if it didn't protect the oil filter...

I would want the skid plate to protect those items. Save you from an oil leak maybe.

the Jenks one doesn't - it's a handy size without being obtrusive
