loose bolt, found it by luck...

i'm in the process of choppin a bonnie front fender or buyin a short one to replace the stock ones. lookin at the front wheel to see if i could take the old one off w/o removin the wheel i found this..

the bolt had backed out and was almost touchin the tire. i checked the other one on that side. no need to tighten it, it had already f@%ing left the building. the 2 on the other side were not even hand tight anymore. never thought to check those before....

Another ringing endorsment of inspection of your bike on a "per ride" basis.

Wonderful thing these new Bonnies!Extend that pre-flight check to 30 days.On the old ones,it was 30 minutes.
(Really)

Actually, they probably left it loose at the factory.Too many"purists"whining about lack of authenticity. Now,you too can brag to your friends about shedding parts while going down the road.

That's why they leave so much cosmoline on our bikes, you know.So they'll mark their spot, just like the old ones, when we first get them home.

Cheers!
Bruce
