BC: New Fork Upgrade Parts

Just a quick note to let you know that I am now offering some new fork upgrade parts. I have a set of forks built-up, however not yet installed on a bike. I hope to get to that done by this weekend.

New parts include Hyperpro fork springs, PD Cartridge emulators, low stiction oil seals and a complete tapered roller bearing set-up for the frame. I want to offer these parts in a DIY kit which will require some detail instructions. That means I will need to dismantle the fork(s) once I'm done test riding so I can properly photograph everything.

Please excuse the lack of photos at the moment. I bought a new digital camera and my old card reader doesn't read these new postage stamp-sized cards. I'll correct that too by the weekend.

/Mike

Sounds great I know the problems are not the stock springs on my scrambler its the poor dampening characteristics.

Mike,

Will the springs be rising rate? Any pricing info?

Greetings,

Thor,

They are rising rate. At this point I do not have any specific info about them other than there is a lable that states the tighter-wound coils go towards the top. There is a very elaborate suspension tuning guide supplied with the spings, but just looking it over, it appears to be rather non-brand specific albeit highly technical.

Other Motorcycle: 2006 Scrambler!
My biggest gripe with the suspension on my Scrambler is the bad damping for the forks. I'm definitely interested in emulators.
