08 bonnie rear hub pics

They've arrived in Scotland.

I was at Shirlaw's in Aberdeen yesterday and took a couple of snaps with my phone. It's their T100 demo bike:

Good pics, Johny, thanks. The new hubs look alright to me, but they're going to get dirty under those edges!

Don't like those new hubs personally. I don't think that new hub fits with the bike's overall design. Why didn't they go with an old design that worked? [okay, I know why] I've seen some old ones posted around the forum....the old Commando hub lacing if I'm not mistaken. Looks far better in my opinion.

I agree - the new hubs are really ugly, but if they fix a problem.....

I recently had a rear spoke break on my 2001 Bonnie, and apparently Triumph don't sell spokes separately, just as a wheel set! Luckily I found a shop with some spares left over from a full wheel rebuild, but it's something to bear in mind. Check those spokes carefully!
