Thumbs up

Bonneville 2008 EFI

300 km on a full tank (16,6 liters), but I still have to test this...
Reseve-light comes on after 220km.

1liter:19 km

get 40 mpg on 70/30 mix of interstate/city. IF I let her go to reserve, it hits at approximately 120 miles, though I usually fill up prior to that point, e.g., in the AM before leaving for work, or after work so I don't have to fret about running out of fuel IF there's a massive tie-up on the interstate.

ride on

I commute daily 16 miles each way, mostly rural twisties. I hit reserve between 135-140 every time with 2 "cold" starts each day. On day rides where we're going 70mph for 100 miles or so much better. I actually went 168 miles once and didn't hit reserve. Filled it up with 3.02 US gallons (55.63 mpg) and that was with my current setup. I have never figured out why the bonnie's have such a wide range in fuel milage. Maybe we tinker too much with them (that's why we bought them isn't it?) and don't always get things quite right.

Mileage

Stock I was hitting reserve at 140 miles like clockwork. Now with 904 kit, open pipes and rejet I hit reserve at 120 miles.

I must have problems with mine. I cruise at 65-70mph and hit the reserve a little bit over 100 miles (anywhere from 101-109 max). However my bike only has 1100 miles so maybe its still breaking in.

If not what might be my problem?

5000 miles on her today, 07 bonnie and I hit reserve around 115-120, I must admit though that I like seeing the needle hit 100 mph. ok, and a bit more sometimes, but only sometimes.
