Nah, doesn't count when you're holding it there, presumably with a maniacal grin on your face.

Mine was getting stuck, too, and I thought it was all kinds of complicated stuff with cables and such. It turned out that whenever I removed the bar-end weight (I assume that's the little disk on the end of the bar??), the thing worked fine. On one thread somebody wrote of a complicated fix with washers or shims.

But it turned out that all I had to do was move the entire starter/brake/throttle unit in from the end of the bar about a mm, and all was fine. The end of the grip was rubbing on the bar-end weight, whenever the latter was snugged down securely. Now it works fine.

I had the same problem and the solution is to re-route the throttle cable. With the shorter and lower m-bars the cable is forced into a bend which is to tight causing the cable to bind.
If you disconect the cables from the twist grip you can re-route through the outside of the triple tree to reduce the arc.

I also had a problem with the throttle sticking after installing M bars. I just moved the throttle in a bit to make sure the grip cleared the bar end mirror and also made a quick adjustment on the cable. Just turned the adjuster at the handlebar a little bit out and fixed the problem.

So, I suspect it could be your right handlebar grip thats a little tight...
Same thing happened to me a couple of weeks after I purchased the bike.

was the handlebar grip as Ivar suggests.

the dealer adjusted it and fixed it when the bike had it's first 800 Kilometer warranty service. they said they've had a couple of these problems.

make sure you do something about it. a very dangerous condition if not rectified
