Talking Breakaway/Cruise Control

Just installed the Breakaway Cruise like control from www.breakawayproducts.com Gotta say it works pretty slick. Installation was not too bad either. Little bit pricey @ $ 199.00 Feel the benefits are worth it . Right wrist feels a lot better , no fatigue , craps etc. Just set it and forget it, disengages with the use of the front brake , or with your right numb. Went on the first long ride of the year and the old hand felt a whole lot better with this contraption. Works very well. .

Hard to tell from the web site what you bought.
Can you be more specific?
Thanks

Have had this product bookmarked for a year - I like the concept ... but couldn't really visualize how it interacts with the switchgear housing. Is it just friction from the setscrews that keep it from rotating, and no drilling required?

p.s. my link is for the 6cb03, I assume that's correct?

Does it go on over the existing rubber grip, or between the rubber grip and the switch/throttle housing? I have been thinking about that too.

Am I the only one who can't find the product with either of these links?

OK, found it, thanks to the "similar threads" function at the bottom of the page.

I got the throttlerockers from JC Whitney for like $19 for the pair. I can rest my left and right at the same time or use my wrist for cruise. The days of the right hand death grip are over.

Talking

Sorry about the miss spell on their web site. It just goes over your grip, and does not look too bulky or ugly . Workmanship is really great. When you want to use it you just turn the grip , push the little square button and it maintains that speed. You can then fine tune it from there, works with friction. To disengage you use your front break or hit the other little thing next to the set button, and it disengages. I had the wrist rest and never really like it that much. Got to say I really like how this gadget works.

I have been thinking about buying that for a while as well, I ride so many miles. Since it goes over the grip, it should work on my Scrambler right?
