Friday night drag race RESULTS!!!!
Well, I kicked ass pretty much I would say, or at least I was told. I raced a thruxton all night and won 3-2. My bike is an 865cc, with ARK, stock carbies and Predators, and tuned pretty good for Arizona. Here are my numbers:
Distance Run 1 Run 2 Run 3 Run 4 Run 5 Average
Reaction 0.12 0.143 0.116 0.312 0.148 0.1678
60ft 2.225 2.417 2.45 2.365 2.127 2.3168
330ft 5.756 5.937 6.099 5.912 5.6 5.8608
1/8th 8.756 9.012 9.046 8.823 8.489 8.8252
1000ft 11.383 11.693 11.623 11.397 11.052 11.4296
1/4th 13.643 14.017 13.848 13.637 13.286 13.6862
Speed 99.35 96.99 100.82 100.4 100.39 99.59
My reaction times really surprised everyone and myself included. It was tons of fun. Only had one scary run, run 2 or 3, where at the start i peeled out across the lane, must have hit some oil or some stuff. Other than that run 4 we switch lanes for the first and only time, so my reaction sucked on that one. Man it was tons of fun.

Kicked A$$!
Well, yes, I would say you DID kick some A$$ out there. This was your first time? If I may speak for the rest of the forum gang here, we were all eagerly awaiting your results thanks for posting so quickly. Theres gonna be a ton of response. Your last run # 5 shows theres still more speed left in her too. You were starting to dial her in. 13.28 yowza! low 13's that great man.
Heh, my '65 Falcon runs 13.6's all day too. I got the time slips to prove it too. See em here.... http://www.napaliprop.com/comingsoon.html
Congrats JF.

Photos
Here are the photos my wife took, you will have to excuse her, she is horrible with our camera, even though its a very nice digital SLR, she just cannot seem to take pics in focus, but she is a woman, so what do you expect, there were other guys taking pics, i will try to get those and see how they turned out.

OH yea, I am wearing the Icon Moto leathers jacket with skulls on the sleeves, the other guy is Tom on the thruxton who I raced all night.

Need shift light
I forgot to mention I hit he rev limiter alot last night and in my first runs had some really crappy shifts. My last run, which was my best, I only hit the rev limiter in 3rd, so if I would have shifted a little quicker, who knows what my time would have been, also I never got into 5th gear, I wonder if i tried it at the end of the track it would help me out a little, I am thinking I might be able to break into the 12's is everthing was right.
