throttle getting stuck

So I am swapping out for some M bars and I am following the instructions on here and for some odd reason my throttle will not pull back to the original position after simulating acceleration.

Can anybody help me to get it to go back?

rotate the throttle on the bars, check to make sure the cables aren't bound up somewhere, you may have to adjust the angle of the bars or reroute the cables.

I have used with great success:

windex
rubbing alcohol
listerine
brake cleaner
gasoline

I don't like lubricants, like wd40, because they don't stick on right away, they kinda slip for a while.

Throttle can bind at the bar end

Check other thing that got me when I changed bars -- The throttle assembly can be too far up on the bar and the grip end is bound by the bar end, if that makes sense. I just moved the throttle back off the bar a mm or two and it freed right up. Enjoy the bars!

Yeah....it happens when you change bars......just takes a little tweaking.

You'll know something is wrong when you have the bike in neutral, turn the bars, and the engine revs for no reason. Throttle cable....

+1 on moving the throttle up off the very end of the bar. Mine did the same thing when I switched to mbars. That'll fix ya right up.
