Good looking stuff-only thing is-no more passenger space.
My setup is only there during holydays 'cause it's sooo ugly!

Thanks for all the great luggage pics. Im planning a trip to Wildwood,Nj this summer on my Thruxton. All these pics have filled in some blanks for me. Those pelican bags look like something the miltary would use. Very sturdy looking. You sure you didnt sneak them off of an army base in Texas somewhere?

Caribou Cases has offered the Pelican setup for specific adventure bikes for a few years. http://cariboucases.com/store/?name=Home What might be useful for the do-it-yourselfers is that he offers just the cases with an integrated key lock.

would it work on a scrambler?

Do you think this would work on the left side of a Scrambler?

Just to throw in my 2 cents... I have been using pelican cases for about the last ten years. I am a professional photographer and shoot every weekend+. I had a rolling case that a photographer friend was using and this guy drug the case with one missing wheel for an entire wedding season (don't ask). Needless to say, the entire left wheel housing system was ruined. I called the customer service and with no questions asked they mailed me replacement parts and hardware. In the last five years, my wife has worn out two other major brand rolling camera cases. I am still using the same (my second) pelican case. These cases are tuff!

When my riding buddy Grebmrof gets back in town today, I'll have him email me the name of the mfg of the mounts he used on his Boonie in combination with Pelican bags. They aren't things of beauty, but they do a dandy job of holding large Pelicans, and are well-built. Painted gloss black as I recall. I think he bought the mounts at a site called Happy Trails, but I cannot locate bag mounts that look like those on his bike when I go to their site.
