Sun Rims (Buchanan) - Sizing?

I'm considering black anodized Sun Rims from Buchanan Spokes for my Thruxton. http://www.buchananspokes.com/Sun_al.htm
I'm planning on getting the 4.25" wide rim for the rear (stock is 3.5"). As for the front, they don't offer the stock size of 2.5", but they do offer a 2.15" and a 2.75". Could either of these size work, or should I stay with the stock front width?

The 2.75 will work with the stock size tire and will give you the benefit of a wider contact patch.

Keep us posted on what you. I am always looking for things I can change, and I have been entertaing this idea even before I picked up my bike. And fwiw, I ride Sun rims on my Kona.
