yeah my first one lasted about 7000 miles. I am not sure about the high beam working better, as soul rebel said. My high beam kinda sucks. This light is much better than stock, but I am still not real excited in the woods in the night or in the rain. I think it has more to do with the design of the light bucket because these lights are very bright on other autos.

I would say the Xenon lights from NB are is bit brighter...and a LOT "blue-er".
But yeah...the problem is the design of the Triumph headlamp itself.
Problem #1, If you want your high beam straight ahead, your low beam will do a fanstastic job of illuminating your front tire. If you have your low beam adjusted correctly, your high beam will wake up all of the birds in the trees.
Problem #2, The mounts that hold the lighting fixture itself isn't all that sturdy to begin with. It is hard to "lock" it in place.

I replaced mine with a PIAA anti-vibration Extreme White plus. No issues so far, but I only have 1,000+ miles on it... great bulb, but definetly more pricey that the one on NB.

PIAA makes a top quality product. For my money it's a "get what you pay for' thing. never an issue with their bulbs (for me). I like Nb but have learned to not use any off brand bulb. Just my own experience.

Occasionally they burn out quickly. I put a pair of premium Sylvania bulbs in my car, and one (only) burned out in a few months. I used the original Bonneville headlight bulb to replace it.
I have the NewBonneville bulbs too, definitely brighter and whiter.

First bulb, three years. Love it. You may be getting figure prints on the bulb. Wipe them with lint free cloth and alcohol before installing. Skin oil will over heat them.

I recived a $50.00 gift card for Cyclegear in California so I used it for a PIAA anti-vibration Extreme White. SO far so good after about 7K miles.
