dang crazy oil leak

I been pulling my hair out looking for a little oil leak that only leaks over 60 mph .I know that sounds crazy but you can wash motor off let it run it wouldnt leak a drop .you can ride it around slow at any rpm you want it wouldnt leak a drop.If you go on the high way and run 2 miles at 60 or above it leaks all over the front of the engine.I was thinking the worst that maybe it was leaking between the jug and the block being as i just put the stroker kit in bike but that wasnt it.The lover o-ring on the oil pipe from the head to the block was where it was.I moved the tube around and put sealer around the hole in the block and that took care of it.Just thought i would post this incase anyone runs in to same crazy thing.I think as wind goes over the hole it makes a vac.sucks the oil out.

those oil leaks are a mother to chase down. After getting my motor back together I must have had 4 different ones to find. One was just a pinched clutch cover gasket (easy), one was a pinhole-sized void in the sealant for the cases near the alt cover (hard to find, easy to fix), another was the front edge of the cases where there was a bigger void in the sealant. I tried 4 or 5 different sealants and none would work, eventually I just JB Welded the thing. It's only about 1/2" long and hasn't leaked since.

Glad you got yours fixed.
