Post Tired of watching YouTube

I have been driving my self nuts listening and looking at exhausts for my T100 all because I would like it to have a little more sound, original huh I don't want my exhaust to angle up like a Thruxton or I would have bought one nor do I want to spend $899 on Staintunes either. My search has led me to be inconclusive.

I bought a dynojet kit and an air injection removal kit from British Customs with a gift certificate my brother in law got me for Christmas. As of now I think I may just buy a K&N replacement filter, rejet, plug off and keep the stock exhaust without modification. Sad, but true.

Sounds like you need to take a long ride, to help you decide on what you're looking for

No worries... there will be a time (and it's coming). I agree that listening to exhausts on a video makes it a very tough decision.

If I may make a couple suggestions. TORs (factory off-road exhaust) look the same as stock but have a richer sound and a little more volume than your stock exhaust. Norman Hyde Togas are very nice, and are both authentic looking and sounding. They're quite a bit louder than the TORs and much louder than stock. Based on your criteria, I think those would likely be your two best choices.

Too loud? Wear earplugs. My bike, which I bought used, came with D&D's. IMO, they are too loud and raspy. However, I haven't justified spending $500 for Predators (if they are even than cheap). So, I wear some custom molded earplugs that cost $45. Oh well.

Your suggestions are all good ones. I tell you what I would like too see is the Norman Hyde Peashooters level out and come straight back like the stock exhaust sits but still have the sound of the NH Peashooter.

From what I understand the Toga and Peashooter baffles are made of Steel packing instead of fiberglass. Which is a feature I am looking for.

Also I have Triumph leather bags that I want to keep on the bike so the exhaust can't get in the way.

Road Dog are those NH Peashooters on your bike? You have a nice bike

I heard my D&D's in person - sold.

I think New Bonneville has sound clips?

No... those would be $899 Staintunes (reverse cones). I can't say that blame you for not wanting to pay that kind of money. When I bought mine the going price was $750, and I got them on sale for $700. I love the Staintunes. But if I were buying mufflers at today's prices, I would likely buy something priced a little more reasonable.

i'm looking for pipes (mufflers) for my bonnie as well and loved the sound clips of the NH pea shooters.
i thought i saw the NH pea shooters mounted straight back as the stockers are on a Bonnie some where. i assumed there is some adjustability in those mufflers to mount flat or add some angle. i'll search around to see if i can find the picture again. has any one else seen the NH pea shooters mounted straight back without angle?

Norman Hyde peashooters look a lot like what others might call reverse cones. I guess you have 3 good options.

They actually look pretty sweet IMO. Here's a link... http://www.normanhyde.co.uk/search.php?parent=12&tag=18

just found the photos i was referring to that seem to show the NH peashooters mounted with some angle and also mounted flat. (top picture vs. bottom picture).
