Talking Not Tires Again...

Yeah sorry folks, nothing too exciting here, just wanted an opinion on some rubber.

I think I'm going for the set - anyone used these recently - your thoughts?

Drew,

Your on the right track. Right dealer right brand, wrong tire.

Lazertec's at both ends, built for our bikes and they work in the rain and dry.

3 sets on my T-100 and there will be many more before I'm done with it.

Yep it is a real good tire

better wet than the lazertec. You would be happy, Personally I run demons I really loathe the lazertec front as it wears. Some have good luck I got the wobbles as have others.

uzidzit - I want to make you aware that I have 13.5K miles on my stock front Lazertec, and have no sign of any wobble what-so-ever. Since I realize how well you know tires.

Have had two get the wobbles

I have never made over about 7k on any front tire, Just been a nagging complaint from more than just myself, seems to be more of a thruxton issue, geometry? who knows, My bike is raised in the rear and lowered in the front which makes the trail come out a little less than the thrux and that may be part of it. The wobbles showed up very hard straight line braking. I am heavier than avg as well, but run very stiff suspension. I do know the tourance very well and it is a superb tire.

I've heard great stuff on the tourance tires as well from several people using them (though I haven't talked to a bonnie owner (live) that has used them, but many seem to be making the choice - particularly the scrambler riders.
