Right now I'm running a stock air box,AI removed,Staintunes with 112 jets from Dynojet 3 turns out. I have decided to put in a K&N air filter and remove snorkel. Leaving restrictor plate in. I was thinking either 116 or 120 mains. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. The bike runs well with just 112's and Staintunes,so I was thinking probably just bump up to the next jets that came with the kit which were 116 or 120. Oh yeah, I forgot that also I will be installing a bellmouth. Thanks.

Why are you leaving in the restrictor plate? From what I've understood that makes a great improvement in performance. Or have I missed something somewhere?

well I figured if I was going to start taking apart the airbox I would just put in a nark, but then again I think we will all go down that road eventually.

I have the same set-up that you're going to. AI removed, Staintune (reverse cone) mufflers, NH bellmouth with a K&N air filter. I still have the restrictor plate in my airbox, and believe it's best left in.

My Triumph dealer's mechanic did the rejet and I asked him what size main jets were installed. He used 125s, and the bike runs flawlessly. Runs so well in fact, that I can't justify removing the airbox.

Thank for the info. What brand jets do you have. I think different brands have different flows even though the number might be the same. I have dynojet jets. The kit came with 110,112,116, and 120's. I was thinking 116, since right now the bike runs very well. Just adding a filter and bellmouth to the set up I thought 125 might be to rich. Probably play it safe and go with 120 and see how that works. Thanks for the info.
