Scrambler Upgrades

Finally, I have finished my Scrambler upgrades up to this point. So far, NARK w/ K&N cones (I couldn't use the carb brace that came with it however due to the cone air filters getting in the way), Thunderbike Mufflers (which sound quite nice if I do say so myself), Nology ProFire ignition coils, Nology Hotwires (I had to bore out the grounding cable to 10.87mm to fit my cylinder head cover bolts), replaced the "D" shaped idle mixture screws with the Newbonneville idle mixture screws, and last the Tachometer which is a "niceity". After I replenish my funds I am going after the suspension and brake system.

Sorry if this is repeated anywhere I am still learning the forums.

Ohh and a Pingel High Flow fuel tap.

What year have you got? & where do you ride it? (dirt, tar?) How many klms/mls have you got on her? Are you still using Bridgestones, or have you upgraded the tyres too?
Thunderbike cams work well with the pipes, & give a good performance lift, in the mid-range (& an extra 20kph top speed).
The best suspension mods appear to be Hagon or Ikon (& YSS get good raps too). I've been very satisfied with my Ikons, but I also haven't heard a bad word about the other two either. So it'll probably come down to personal preference, price, & availability.
Sounds like you're well on the way to making your own SuperScram.
Love to see some pics (& maybe a vid?)

Scrambler suspension

Morning folks, I wanted to give a thumbs up to Race Tech Fork Emulators and Ohlins with piggy back on the rear.

The Emulators have really helped off road, and with the roller coaster gravel road pot holes. I haven't bottomed out yet, but it's only a matter of time.

I've had no heat issues with the right side TORS pipe and the right shock. However, fitting is a little tight. Unfortunately, you can only adjust the pre-load with the piggy backs that I bought. I don't know if they make an even more adjustable model yet.

I went with Ohlins because I've used them in the past, and was impressed. I looked into YSS, and wasn't sure about customer support in the USA. I know there are several places to service Ohlins in "The States", to include the HQ in North Carolina.

Take care.
