Leaking IKONS
My IKON shocks appear to be weeping oil!
I've only had them for about a year and they keep building up oil grime around the bottom and I can also see oil build up on the body in behind the springs.
Has anyone else experienced this?

I sell IKONS and on the odd occassion we do get one that leaks, (it is very rare) should be covered by warranty, contact your local distributer or whoever you bought it from they should change it no problem. I wouldn't quibble with anyone returning one they had bought from us up to at least 2 years after they bought it.

i sent IKON an email and they got straight back to me, saying to send them in and they'd take care of it for me. Which is great but it seems a bit odd that both are weeping about the same?
Oh well.

 - Nice, based on one guy here having problems with his (that IKON is replacing for free) you're gonna trash talk a product you dont own? I dont get you dude. I really dont.
BTW, I have 3 sets on 3 different bikes. No problems with them. Great shocks and I highly recommend them.

yep I agree Ikons are a good product, my bike with the stock shocks used to be hell on wheels on the rough tarmac, but now its bliss..

Chedd,
Good thing you're in Oz. Proven Products will cheerfully take care of your warranty claim. Geoff is a great guy and very customer service oriented.

That's quite an endorsement Bonafide.
Mmmm, what are your IKON's actual road time? I mean as a everyday driver I value the opinions of others in my situation...
Do we have any heavy use experience in the room? (potholes - stop and go traffic - uneven pavement) If so please feel free to speak up ~ I am very interested to hear how IKON's perform daily not just on Sundays in the twisties.
Don't know if I trust the opinions of someone with such shiny bikes...
Much love to Bona~
