My 2001 Bonnie, asked for a valve check at 8000 miles, but you should check your owers manual. Lots of other good info in it too. Chain, tires, oil, air pressure, etc, learn it, it will save you bucks in the long run and your bike will love you for it. Take care of it and it will last you a life time.
