02 bonnie shimming needle

just put noman hyde peeshooter on that came with a jet kit including a shim to richen the needle ,there were 2 on the needle already ,is that stock .

I re jetted my 2002 and it didn't have any shims on it.

I would use the shims and jetting kit that came with the mufflers, assuming that you told them what your air intake situation was. The jetting has to be right for the air box and mufflers together.

they sent 42 pilot 125 mains and shim for under needle, my airbox has`nt been messed with , not yet any way ,previous owner ,but not original owner says the best he could get was 40 mpg ,you guys are saying 50 ,that was with stock pipes too .i`ll try just the one shim
