squeak squeak squeak

Hi everybody.

I'm about to hit 1000 miles on my Thruxton, which is about 2 months old. A few days after I had my first service, I noticed that when moving at slow speeds, there is a quiet squeaking noise that occurs a rate that matches the wheel rotation speed. That is, for each wheel rotation there is 1 squeak. It seems to be coming from the front, and it doesn't seem to happen when the front brake is applied.

Using my deductive reasoning skills, I'm guessing this has something to do with my front brake. Is this normal? Can anything be done? Should I take it to the dealer?

Forgive me if there's and obvious answer to this. It's my first bike, and I'm still not that familiar with how all the moving parts function.

Thanks in advance!

Noise in ft

It is from the front brake- mine did it too, still does when I let it sit for a while. It will go away & possibly return @ times. Dont worry about it!!

Since the Thrux uses a floating rotor, some irregularity in the rotor position is okay. It will align itself optimally when you apply the brakes...
