I did a search but didn't find anything. How do you check or set the ignition timing on the 865 engine? I am not sure but I think my bike has a slight ping at low rpm when lugged down and then given throttle. I am running 91 Octane gas.
Would like to see if the timing is advanced to much.

Your ignition timing cannot really be adjusted. It's set by the alternator.
Advance curves can be changed by replacing or altering the ignition box.
Lugging down is not considered a good thing.

Tks Ben. Don't make a habit out of lugging it down just hear the noise last night for the first time.
