Shift lever question

Hi all,

I'd like to purchase another shift and brake lever for my Thruxton. I purchased the footpeg assembly and new pegs to move the controls to where the Bonnies sit. How do I describe the splines where the levers meet the motor? Are these universal or do I need to buy a set of Bonneville levers? Anyone know of MX levers that might fit?

Thanks a ton for your help.

Jake

Cool Levers

I am sure diameter has a lot to do w/ it. The spline I dont know how thet measure that?
Metric or? I will assume if the diameter is rite, the lever will fit? Dont know exactly what youve done, but you should be able to find some levers w/o much trouble? The diameter is the biggy I think? Sounds like good project. I am always looking for ways to make my Bonne BETTER!! New month= new money!! Got my list workin. Got most of my safety upgrades done. Workin on appearance now. Gonna do the knee pads this month w/ some other sm shiny stuff. If these bikes werent so cheap to buy-you'd be pissed havin to put on "necessary stuff" along with make nice stuff!! Gotta love em tho!!!

Exclamation Safety

Signal minder, different reflective tape, louder horn etc... The signal minder was the biggie!!
A real life saver!! A couple others as well.

If it's any help, I modified a Suzuki MX gear lever, with folding end, to fit my Tiger955i. Splines exactly the same. I think the shaft is pretty much a standard size.
Just take yours into a dealer and compare with what's around the showroom to find the shape you want.
