Brakes

05 speedmaster, problems with the front brakes, have replaced rotors just 2 months ago. brakes still feel like the rotors are warped. Any ideas? or some one having the same problem. I like the bike but the front end sucks.

Any chance the brakes are adjusted to tight? It would cause the wheel to drag.

Maybe the hub is out of round, which may be a warranty issue, or at least a point of negotiation with Triumph. Did the new rotors cure the problem temporarily, then start shaking/vibrating again, or was the problem still there immediately after changing the rotors?

probably a bad hub

and that is a known warranty repair. Chech the wun out of the mounting surface. I had a warped rotor that was like new and fixed it with a floating rotor from ebc for a honda: here is the post is is a wonderful upgrade, this bike uses a stainless steel rotor from the factory, and stainless rotors are poor in the friction dept.
