Lightbulb Panic panic. . .OHHHH yea!!

So yesterday the woman moved out she wasn't making enough money in this town so she went back home (where she can make much much much better money) till I move down to spring and she we move back in. SO I'm stressed out about all this and that and now I have to come up with extra money for rent and bills with her gone. . .I go out to ride and get some coffee, my therapy. . . start the bike gear up and off I go . . so I thought. Just to top it off as soon as i sat on the bike and stood it up it dies. . . .Set it down and it starts, stand it up dies. . set it down and nothing. . .no lights no nothing. . .Oh well after a mini-breakdown several expletives and a smoke i think hmmm started fine no noise that shouldn't be there, its electrical! Yank the cowl and seat check battery both connections seem tight all the cords are plugged in still nothing. . .so I wheel the thing into the garage put it on its stand sit on it and figure why not try again. . .Well let me just say i had the shock of my life seeing sparks between my legs!! Turns out the little spacer? in the negative battery terminal had shaken loose and wasn't fully connecting. So just a note to everyone, dont start the bike when it has no seat on and you are sitting on it, I thought I was never gonna be able to steal any future childrens bikes for joyrides. Also check the battery terminals.

That sort of experience really reinforces the need for leather trousers

Well I'm glad to report that most chaps I know don't swing that way.
Not that there's any thing wrong with that.
Wait a minute, battery terminals on the wedding tackle?
Yes there is!!
