It's kindof a hybrid thread.

Ah! That explains it. "Hybrid" certainly sounds technical to me. Thanks for the enlightenment.

Cool I am still curious about the shocks!

It just gets me all fired up when someone brings up "Trailer Park Boys"

Danny,

They'll work fine for your Bonneville. They're a touch shorter than your OEM shocks (340mm = 13.385") But if you don't mind that fact, they should work super-d-duper for ya.

Edit: You might PM the seller, and see if he can get you 13.5" units instead. That's about as close to OEM stock height as you're going to get with Progressives!

They are also being sold by British Customs and my dealer was talking about them last week. There are three different ones available, clicky here...

They are also selling 79$ front progressive springs too, that I was going to ask if anybody has.

MackDaddy - daddymack here. I assume your referring to Motorcycle Accessory Warehouse when you say MAW? I went to their site but when you click on Triumph I come up with nothing. Can you link us to your $64 delivered Progressive Front Springs?
Thx - Hedge

DaddyMack,

Checking now...

I know mine are 11-1145's, but they're a bit different for the Speedy.

Looks like you all need 11-1126's.

http://www.mawonline.com/newsite/pro...FORK%20SPRINGS

I searched & found this on the above referenced page:

M03004 $ 55.95 FRONT FORK SPRINGS (111126)

I'd assume these are the one's (but don't quote me!!)

Jim

Edit:

It states this as well on that page "FITS MODEL: FJ1200 89-96 - Fork Spring"

I'll do some more research when I get home. I'm leaving work right now...
