Exclamation help required fitting genuine triumph datatool alarm

hi can anyone help? i have purchased a genuine triumph datatool alarm for my triumph speedmaster and i have plugged it into the alarm connection underneath the tank and it seems to work fine but there are other wires coming out of the alarm that i dont seem to be able to find a home for is this normal? and where the hell do you mount the dam thing? what i am after is someone who would be willing to send me a copy of the fitting instructions for this alarm or someone who could answer the above questions and assist me to the location of mounting the unit. please please.

But they say they should only be fitted at factory or dealership.

Your triumph dealer orders and fits a bracket that sits inbetween the frame rail and the tank, be aware it is not ideal and is prone to getting wet in downpours, good olde british weather
When i get time and good weather gonna see if i can relocate mine to somewhere better, like inside the headlamp.

I think that the wires that you have left maybe..

a) Antenna
b) Sensitivity wire (attach to ground to make more sensitive)
c) Accessory wire for attaching things like a pager unit.
d) A circuit break loop - normally used with a couple of magnetic contacts that you'd place maybe under your seat that would detect the seat being removed...

Now the $64 question... what colour is which? I'll presume they have coloured tabs on the end of the black wires? Well i'm really sorry to say that i can't help you as mine is an Acumen system.... sorry....

And for what it's worth i scoured the 'net for 'self fit' info for the datatool system but had no joy - hence buying the Acumen off Ebay which came with full fitting info.
