Guards 0n 2008 America

G'day,
First of all I would like to say hello as I am new to this forum.

I have a question in regards to the 2008 America.

I am looking at getting a 2008 America with EFI, however I wish to know if this model has Metal Guards (I'll be getting the bike in Australia)?

The reason why I'm asking this is because I read that the Bonnie now has plastic guards (not sure if this is correct), so I'm now wondering if this is also the case for America.

Thanks in advance for your feed back.

Are we talking fenders here? If that be the case, my 2007 SpeedMaster has a plastic front, and metal rear. I'd assume the 08's will be the same... worldwide.

Yep. rear will likely always be metal because of stresses. Front has always been plastic.
