HOLEY!!!!! s***

I just finished installing the Mikuni HSR 42mm carbs.
Holey $h*t what a difference I am scared to sit on her and twist
the throttle. The 904 felt great but the Mikuni’s really wake her up.
The weather right is pretty bad today so I can’t take her out but,
man oh man I SOoooo can’t wait to take her out.
There is a totally different feel to the throttle I have heard all the
guys that have them installed say you can’t whack the throttle open.
Now I know what they mean she gets up there very easily with just
a slight twist of the throttle.
She sounded and felt mean with just the 904 but, now…..ooo baby
she sounds and feels so mean now she SCARS me.
These babies are big! there like the papa bear of carb’s were as the
FCR 39mm would be the mama bear of carb’s and that leaves the
stock carb’s as the baby bear of carb’s.
They fill up the back of the motor with very little room to spear.

Her are some pic’s of shock verses Mikuni

Intake side

There is not much room left back there

sweet, I'm jealous! IMO those are the only aftermarket carbs to consider for our bikes.

Nice work, Bill! We'll be looking for the first 'fair weather' ride report soon.

Sweat
They really do wake the 904 up.
They are way, way to expensive but,
I haven't even taking her out for a ride yet and I can tell she is going
to be Badass.
I can say I think they are worth saving up your pennies for.

Will the side panels fit back on to achieve the stock/sleeper look?

The HSR's do look like a couple bricks don't they? Can't wait to hear what you think after a blast.

I am jealous! but the timing for your report is good. I have a set about ready to mount up. Mamma raised a fool and I am tying them together myself. I would say the kit price is fair from BG @ BP. Its a PIA.

Looking good.
