Brembo Radial Master Cylinder Fitted

This works extremely well with the 6-pot billet alloy race caliper and Bendix race pads. Its a 16x18mm unit for single disc set-ups, and was supplied with flip up lever. This set up should work really well on the trackdays planned for this year.

Hi Rob, This is exectly the same lever as I bought for the 6 pot Pretech caliper from Steve Kane. It is not yet on my bike because I'm still in the tuningzone...
I toke some pictures of the cilinderhead today, there's still a lot of work to be done, but as soon as the wheels are rolling again I let you know what the results are...

Its a stock Brembo part. Buy the 16x16 or 16x18 ratio master cylinder as these are designed for single disc applications. You may need to replace your stock brake line for a slightly longer one. You WILL need to replace the stock bango (at the master culinder end) with a 10mm x 1mm pitch bango to fit the Brembo. My master cylinder did not have a brake light switch so I bought a 10mm x 1mm bango with integral switch.

How did the raking feel/power change, any improvement? I have been looking into this type of upgrade, but after adjusting my stock lever, I think I found the braking range I like. Looks great though!

The lever is rock solid, which is just how I like my front brake to feel. 1 finger braking is all that is required in most circumstances on the road, 2 fingers is all that will ever be needed.

The master cylinder and 6-pot capiler is overkill on the road, but this setup should come into its own when I'm out on trackdays, which is why I fitted the master cylinder in the 1st place. The Norman Hyde fork brace should keep the forks from twisting under extreme braking out on the track.

Is the stock Master Cylinder 14mm bore?

I have just fitted a 19mmx18 Brembo radial master cylinder to my Ducati track bike, meaning I have a 'spare' 16mm brembo 'Goldline' master cylinder. Is the stock (Thruxton) cylinder 14mm or 16mm - if it is 14mm I will change to the Brembo. If already 16mm I will instead go fit the Monza cap that arrived today..
