Anyone out there know somebody who has a set of hard sided, (Whether plastic or metal), panniers installed on a Scrambler with the stock pipes in place?

A friend of mine had someone fabricate brackets for a Hepco & Becker Junior set. He used asymmetrical bags -- 30L on the right, 40L on the left.

Metal Mule finally has their Scrambler set up on their site, but boy... you better have a huge wad of cash for them.

Those are decent looking cases, but boy do they like to get paid for those things. Seems to me that you could pretty easily rig up some ammo cases, hit em with a rattle can and have some REALLY bada$$ looking panniers. I'd love to see some photos of someone's scrambler with those.

I made a bracket out of 3/4 steel tubing, and mounted a 40mm ammo can on my scrambler about two weeks ago. Looks and works great.

here are a few pics.

I'm thinking about fabricating a few more...
