Scuffed Engine Cover
My left side transmission cover (black) has a annoying scuff about the size of a small button, right down to the metal.
What's the best way to fix this? - I'll post a pic if need be.
Thanks

Will flat black paint work, or how about a sharpie Use a sharpie and post a pic afterwards, we'll let you know if it's visible.

Of course they do! And don't call us, "girls." We know that is true because we've seen Elvira, and Goth girls.
On a more serious note, nail polish is usually glossy and a Sharpie or a semi-gloss black metal paint will blend in better than any gloss on that cover, which is pretty low gloss, but does have some shine to it, especially if you treat it with something like S100 Engine Brightener.

Geez, Don: why'd you bring that up? Wouldn't it be something if we are giving all this grand wizzardly advice and he's running silver cases????????????
It'd be cool tho: that one little black spot would guarantee Drew would never wonder which bike was his at a Rat rally!!!
Unfortunately, he DOES say it is black, so I guess we're on safe ground!

BBQ Grill Paint
I like Char-Broil brand BBQ grill paint. I did my entire chopper with it.
