My experience with a rejet and upgrade to TOR's
I have had my bike since July and have done my first major performance modifications. I purchased a set of TORs used off of this site for 220 bucks. Then I purchased a K&N filter, 118 and 120 Main jets.
I am some one who researches optoins and executes a Course of Action. It is the Infantry in me I guess. Well I was torn between new Tors and 118s or 120s. I ended up with 120's.
Now the specifics: I have a 07 bonnie and AI removed (recommended by the Jenks manual before any MOD) as stated I have went from stock pipes to TORs. I live in DC so elevation is not a factor. Ended up going with the 120s with the snorkael removed. I love the increase in performance.
There is something to be said about not touching your bike with performance mods, so I can really notice the changes. from 2000 RPM to full throttle the front wheel does not leave the ground, but the you can tell it is almost there. Exactly what I want. Get up and go when neccessary in an emergency withoout having to worry about making your two wheeler a unicycle. Basically I ended up following the Jenks manual's recomended mods for my set up and cannot be Happier.
Just my two cents for anyone that wants to know my experience.

Sounds like you nailed it without having to make a lot of mods! Glad to hear the improvements made the bike what you wanted it to be.

Paratrooper
Paratrooper,
We need to get together and do some riding. I also have an 07 Bonnie, w/tors, but I am running stock jets and 2 shims. I would be interested in speaking with you more about the switch to 120s.
